Q & A

Questions & Answers from Patricia & Stanley Walsh-Haluska

Q. Why did the two of you write this together? A. We have always felt called to write on spiritual topics. Stanley has always envisioned a spiritual self-help book because of his experience as a therapist. Pat, from her experience as an artist, felt visionary fiction assisted readers to have an emotional and intellectual involvement in the concept--showing rather than telling. The goal was to speak as one voice.

Q. You have called this visionary fiction, what is the vision? A. It is the vision of humanity living in harmony with their world, themselves and their universe. A harmony that is built upon the mutual respect and honoring of the presence of All That Is in all its individual aspects. We have all seen what can be accomplished when a few individuals are in harmony and oneness of purpose. Imagine what would happen when the world is, and even more so when we join with the collective consciousness of the universe.

Q. Is the book channelled? A. Not in the traditional way but before each writing session, we asked for assistance from our higher selves and we perceive we received it.

Q. What is the ship and why is it a Ship of Song? A. The ship is not to be confused with a third-dimensional, physical ship such as Star Trek, but rather a collective focus of thought, a fourth-dimensional, spiritual vehicle.

Q. Why a song? A. As mentioned in the book, the resonance of the ship is the "Ohm". Its propellent is consciousness; its mission is love.

Q. Have you visited the Ships of Song. A. Absolutely, as has everyone. We often go to the ships for rest and learning. On some unconscious level the story is a recollection of our experiences there. Anyone who has read the book has danced in the great Council Chamber on the great Ship of Song.

Q. The main character, Elizabeth, takes a thought-walk through time. What did she learn? A. Really three things.

  1. The interconnection of all existence and that they were part of herself.
  2. That her life had divine meaning and purpose.
  3. And though often times unseen, the spiritual realms were always in assistance.
I think the fascinating thing is that the universe is very cautious not to do it for us. Those on the Ships of Song were very honoring of the individual choices of humanity, even if it was to forget who they truly were. Those on the ship knew they were one with humanity so to dishonor humanity's choices was to dishonor themselves.

Q. In her journey, Elizabeth experienced Atlantis. Do you think it actually existed? A. Yes, as did other civilizations. The evolutionary process of human inhabitation of the planet has been incremental. In a sense, the evacuation of Atlantis was just one of many evacuations, just as the one about to occur in human existence. The evacuation could be better stated as a transformational state, the closing of a chapter and the opening of a new chapter. The wonderment of each of those transitional times is that it allows a great advancement in the human condition and the human consciousness.

Q. The book talks about the world in great turmoil. Do you think that is going to happen? A. The point we were trying to convey is that the individual is in the process of taking responsibility for their lives and their world. And the constructs of religion, finance and government are going to need to change to reflect this shift in consciousness.

Q. Are you talking about the rapture? A. It's been called the rapture. What we're talking about is the ascent of human awareness, be it physical or spiritual. I believe this event heralds the beginning of a transformational time of human evolution, an awakening to our consciousness of All That Is, as well as a time for the planet to heal from its wounds inflicted by humanity's presence. After this time of regeneration and restoration, humanity will return and Earth will become a springboard for our exploration of the universe. As God-conscious beings we are no longer limited by the constructs of time and space and will consciously travel the universe exploring All That Is—which in is essence discovering ourselves.

Q. In the book you speak of the main characters travelling to the ship but their unaware of it? Do you believe that we all travel to the ship at certain times? A. Yes, when you see the ship as a collective consciousness of thought rather than a physical vehicle.

Q. Is this abduction? A. No, you cannot abduct yourself. It is the natural return to your original state, similar to when you let go of a helium balloon, it floats upward. That is why most journeys to the ship happen at rest when our conscious mind has the least control.

Q. What happens when we go to the ship and why don't we remember? A. We go to learn and remember and to consciously remember our true nature and origins. We don't fully consciously remember because it would be a distraction to the learning process we have here. But I believe that if we are observant we'll see hints of our travels and signs of the ship. There is a good deal of pictorial documentation of unique clouds. The clouds are a condensation of moisture around the energetic vortex created by the ship. There are times that the ship decreases its vibrations to such a point that it can be seen by the physical eye and, therefore, needs to be hidden by the cloud--and that's the exception rather than the rule.

Q. Has there been times when it has been seen? A. I think there are numerous report of celestial happenings. Even the Bible speaks of the Ezekiel's wheel within the wheel, Elijah's chariot of fire. History is inundated with encounters from the heavens, be it the chariot of the gods or the crop circles in the fields.

Q. Crop circles--what do you think of those and are they the result of the ship? A. I think they are patterns intentionally created by electromagnetic energy from the ships to awaken unconscious imprints of our true nature.

Q. Do you personally believe the story told in Ships of Song? A. I absolutely believe the premise but the story is a fictional story.

Q. There's a character, Joshua, who seems to parallel Jesus. A. We chose the name Joshua, rather than Jesus, to emphasize that throughout history there are many who have come to assist in varying cultures and beliefs. Because of our background we approached it from the Judeo-Christian point-of-view, but hopefully it is clear in the book that this is a universal experience--not limited to any one religious belief.

Q. You speak of beingness, physicalness and consciousness. What do you mean by them? A. It is the three aspects of human existence, in effect the trinity, when thought, divinity and physicalness merge into one. In brief, the premise is that All That Is--also known as the source, God, the creator--exploded or expanded into physicalness and the individual perceptions of God, souls, seek to merge with that physicalness to bring all aspects of creation back into the conscious awareness of All That Is. The challenge and the promise for these spiritual star travellers was to awaken the third-dimensional physical world into the awareness of All That Is. When physicality and consciousness merge we have beingness.

Q. It says in your book, to know the desert you must know the grain of sand... What do you mean by this? A. In a sense it is like a bite-size piece of consciousness, large enough for us to comprehend yet small enough that it can be understood. That is why we have individual perceptions. As we grow in consciousness we are able to comprehend a greater portion of the whole. Example:
10,000 years ago---aware of maybe 20 miles
1000 years ago--aware of maybe 1000 miles
500 years ago--aware of the planet
Within the last 100--the moon
Next 100 years--the stars

Q. Are there plans for other books? A. Yes, this is the first of a trilogy. We are working on the next one which is Eternal Dawn and it delves much more into the impact of the Ships of Song on human history, the pyramids, Stonehenge, Easter Island. We think it will give a whole new meaning to the term chariots of the gods.

Q. If you were to give one sentence for your hope for the reader, what would it be? A. That they would stop, look and listen to the world around them and not take it for granted.

General Conceptual Overview

Four Purposes For Writing The Book

  1. To inspire
It is to inspire the reader to consider their true nature and relationship with All That Is.
That the reader might consciously encounter circumstances that express the oneness of All That Is.
  2. To expand (awaken) consciousness
To assist the reader to expand their identity in light of a universal community.
The reader will redefine their identity, value, worth and existence in light of a universal consciousness.
  3. To comfort
To give meaning and method to human existence with the realization that the truth of our lives is far more wondrous than our dreams.
Because of reading this book, the reader might observe the world from a different perspective in a spirit of hope, harmony and love.
  4. To entertain
To provide the reader with an enjoyable story and a oasis in their busy day.
That the reader is glad that they took the time to read.

Three Major Concepts

  1. The oneness of All That Is
To provide an understandable framework to comprehend the vastness of the concept that all is one in the universe.
That the reader might come to know God more fully, no matter what their beliefs.
The concept of the awareness of All That Is. We are part of All That Is, even if we are unaware. Every action or inaction has a direct affect upon the whole. The only response of All that Is is love and assistance. If you harm another, you harm yourself. If you love another, you love yourself. The bond that joins us is love, which is the acknowledgment and honor of the presence of All That Is within an individual. What separates us is the concept of individuality.
  2. The divine purpose of human existence
There is order in the midst of seeming disorder. All is not in vain. Our true natures will ultimately evolve into human expression.-
That the reader become aware of their importance in the universe and discover their own unique path to the awareness of All That Is.
The divine purpose to human existence. Our coming here to planet Earth was not arbitrary. Our life is our creation in the return to the awareness of All That Is. Nothing is ever lost or in vain, even when we do not love ourselves we are loved. We are an important part of All That Is.
  3. Spiritual interaction (between dimensions)
There is continual interaction between the spiritual and physical worlds in both directions.
That the reader may come to know that they are a spiritual being having a physical experience.
We are an equal to all others in the universe, though unaware we have and utilize all the abilities, all the attributes and all the wisdom of the spiritual realms. We are a co-creator of the universe in which we live and are responsible and participate in its existence. Earth is not our home, it is just a place we are visiting on our way to remembering. There is nothing that can deter us from our path other than ourselves.

Symbolism

  1. Rock representing the oneness of all physicality.
Physicality is always striving for perfection.
  2. The sanctuary representing the oneness of humanity.
Consciousness is always trying to expand.
  3. The ship representing the oneness of the universe.
Divinity or the universe is seeking to assist those processes.

The processes at hand is for the earth to return to its perfection. Humanity to awaken in consciousness and the universe to assist. Three actions that make up an individual that is on a divine path. Return to perfection, awaken and assist.

The universe as expressed in this book does not simply refer to a collection of galaxies. The universe is the physical expression of All That Is. When the illusion of individuality is broken down by love, and space and time are conquered by the power of thought, we will travel the universe as easily as we travel across town.
